Section C General Company Description Describe the child care center: This child care center flourishes with creativity. The environment is molded by family orientation and the thriving of learning. The building is red brick all the way around with black roofing. The outside has a look of professionalism and welcoming to all who enter. The flowers and shrubbery change by the season and the cleanliness of the area is inviting to all visitors. Upon coming in the front door, the warmth of the lobby is immediately comforting. The art work of the children grace the walls and the smells of the kitchen indicate the chef is at work preparing the meals of the day. All classrooms are open door and to all who wish to visit, with permission of†¦show more content†¦Parents and society as a whole are realizing the importance of the first five years. They are realizing that â€Å"school readiness† is important and that we can do better for our children. As an industry, that has given early childhood the opportunity to grow both in a business sense an d in an educational sense. It has given schools, like Lily Academy, the opportunity to grow the brand and has also forced all early childhood educators to reevaluate their mission and their vision for what they do and how they do it. Because of the demand for early childhood education by parents, the industry continues to grow. What changes can be foreseen in the child care industry, short term and long term? Early childhood education must always be changing and evolving to meet the needs of the children and families that we serve. In the short term for this school, the plan is to implement a new curriculum for students 2 and under. The plan is to re-train teachers and add new equipment to the classrooms when expansion becomes available. Long term, the plan is to open a second school. How will this company be poised to take advantage of them? Change is always difficult, whether it be good or bad, it is difficult so providing extra support and guidance throughout the process.
